This tool includes Site Explorer, Keyword Checker, Backlink History Tool, Clique Hunter & Comparator. There comparison tool is a paid tool. But, it can only show you results based on your own website. It’ll work with a free account.
2. IIS SEO Toolkit
You can use their Site Analysis module which has crawler engine. Along with that, Query Builder panel to generate custom reports according to your needs.
IIS SEO Toolkit features Site Analysis Tool, Robots Exclusion, Sitemaps and Site Index Modules.
Using its Robots Exclusion feature, you can find out which content is set to “allow” & “disallow” path on the website.
Sitemaps and Site Index feature lets you view, modify, and delete sitemap & site index files on your website.
3. Screaming Frog SEO Spider
This tool can crawl your website completely and help you analyze & audit your website. Screaming Frog SEO Spider check’s your website links, CSS, Scripts, images & apps. Then, reports back with issues such as duplicate content on website, any broken links on site, URL redirect errors or URL issues.

Google recently updated there Keyword Research Tool which is now known as Google Keyword Planner. This tool is a gem in itself because it provides you with so many details about the keywords you are trying to target. You have multiple advanced filtering options. This can help you know monthly traffic, popularity of each keyword in the last 12 months period. You can even find out more about the niche and what your audience wants using this tool.

SEOBook also have there own Firefox Extensions known as SEO Toolbar that can help you find out your competitors & search data directly in your Firefox Browser.
SEOGadget have some unique free SEO tools like Link Categorization Tool for Excel, Content Strategy Generator, Anchor Text Generator, along with their SEOGadget for Excel tool which can help interpret data from other services such as Majestic SEO, etc. in Excel.

This tool allows you to integrate a lot of other tools such as Google Analytics, Majestic SEO, Twitter, etc. and create a all-in-one spreadsheet. This tool provides on-site analysis & scraping abilities. You can even collaborate your team who can work on the data gathered using this tool.

Out of my favorite toolbar out of all which is available for Firefox & Chrome. This shows you real-time SEO Metrics as you are browsing the web. It highlights the no. of links and keywords on the website, along with that shows page elements on websites. It even gives you a clear overlay which helps you compare Google, Bing & Yahoo! Metrics.
This plugin is available across all major browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox & Apple Safari. It provides all the information that any webmaster is finding out about their website’s ranking from major search engine such as Yahoo! Backlinks, Google’s Pagerank and Indexing on Google & Bing, WHOis Details of any domain, density of keywords, etc. It can even generate reports for any website that you want.
Open Site Explorer
This tool is also made by Moz.com team. It can help you investigate backlinks of your competitors & your own website (Dofollow & Nofollow Both). It also provides metrics domain & page wise known as authority rankings based on different ranking factors. Free version is limited to only 200 backlinks per report & you also get information about backlinks for first 5 backlinks. I recommend you to upgrade to their Pro packages which not only offers this tool but so many other tools developed by Moz.com Team.
I have discussed about this tool in my earlier blog posts. This tool is really useful when you are doing keyword research for your blog/website. It helps you suggest keyword phrases which are already suggested by Google Autosuggestion options. You can add few major keywords and it will start suggesting keywords based on your input. It can also extract keywords suggested on Google’s Images, Google News and even Google Video search option.
Google SERP Snippet Optimization Tool
If you want to optimize your page’s title & meta description tags which can of course help you maximize conversions in SERP. This tool can show you preview of how your search results are seen in Google’s SERPs. Hence, you can change them accordingly and make sure it doesn’t exceed the optimal length in Google.
Anchor Text Over Optimization Report
This tool helps you find out if your anchor text may result in falling foul of Google’s Algorithm. How you ask? Well, just try inputting your website’s URL. It will generate a huge list of keywords & phrases which shows how under & over optimized your keywords are.
I find this web based app very unique, simple and quick to use which helps you find out how search engine look at your website. You don’t need to dabble into code to find out purely for SEO perspective. They also have Android & iOS version of the same app.
Xenu’s Link Sleuth
This tool again will check if you have any broken links on your website. This tool checks for your email, ftp and gopher links on the website including redirect URLs, SSL websites, etc. It will create detect all these links on your site and create a report based around the results with a sitemap.
